Boat & Ferry to Redang Island

If you plan to go holiday to Redang Island, you may go there by depart from these two jetties, the most popular is Shahbandar Jetty and another one is Merang Jetty.

1. Shahbandar Jetty
From this jetty, you can take a ferry, and estimate travel about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Located 12KM from Kuala Terengganu Airport. About 20 minutes drive to the jetty.

2. Merang Jetty (Our Jetty)
Boat from Merang Jetty is the nearest to Redang Island and only 30KM north from Kuala Terengganu. Duration journey of boat from Merang Jetty to Redang Island is approximately 45 minutes to 1-hour journey, if the boat is speeding you can possibly arrives after 30 minutes journey.

Fares
Boat ticket prices at both jetty are the same. The difference is the distance and the time only. Merang jetty is much faster.
